As you know these are unprecedented times we are in, and we are doing everything possible to make sure that at the end of it all we still have a football club. Ian Richardson has just done a fantastic job in raising over £4000 with his virtual football games, which of course we won every game. We know that not only is the football club struggling, but also families are having hard times and we have to be mindful of this. With this in mind our Chairman, Scott Fairbank has come up with the idea of doing a race night on Facebook, where he only does 1 race on the night and you can bet any amount of money you and have the fun of a race night. It doesn’t have to cost you a lot and for a few minutes it breaks the boredom and the kids can join in too. The first race was on Friday night, and the second one is tonight. All you have to do is go on Penistone Church FC’s Facebook page and then find the info for race 2. You do need a paypal account and you can put your money on and pick the name of your horse before 8pm. Then at 8pm go on again and watch Scott do the draw for what number your horse will be sit back and enjoy the race.
